The electric unicycle world has a new undisputed king of long-range street performance. Enter the Leaperkim Sherman-P: an uncompromising masterclass in heavy-duty engineering, high-voltage torque, and maximum energy density. Born as the direct successor to the bulletproof Sherman-L, the Sherman-P takes the proven reliability of Leaperkim's flagship cruiser platform and supercharges every metric. Packing a massive 4700Wh battery pack into a chassis that shares a similar footprint and 14-inch rim of the Sherman-L, the Sherman-P matches the battery capacity of the giant Oryx. Paired with a purpose-built 176.4V powertrain, re-engineered motor windings, and a massive 960A-capable controller, this machine delivers more torque and a higher top speed than the Lynx-S, setting an entirely new standard for high-speed cruising and relentless open-road stamina.
Free Gift: Premium leg pads and Velcro included as part of your purchase: Choose Grizzla Sync, Strike Pads, Powerknobz or Vertex Pads. Add your Sherman-P to your cart to choose your pads!
Key Upgrades & Features
- Enhanced Powertrain: 3800W rated motor with 10,000W peak output driven by a double-layer aluminum substrate controller with MOSFETs handling up to 960A. Custom copper windings and 42mm magnets deliver dual enhancements in low-end torque and top-end speed over the Lynx-S, backed by motor anti-blocking protection.
- Class-Leading Energy Density (4700Wh): Packs a massive 4700Wh Samsung 50S battery (176.4V max, 42S6P) into a compact chassis closely matching the Sherman-L's dimensions. Features string-level voltage monitoring and 6 temperature sensor zones.
- Closed Hydraulic Suspension with Airbag: 90mm travel closed hydraulic system with tool-free finger-adjustable knobs (red for rebound, blue for compression). Includes an integrated bottom-out pneumatic airbag (2.0–3.5 bar / 30–50 PSI) and upgraded damping tuned for a firmer, more stable high-speed base.
- High-Speed Stability & Tire Options: Runs a 2.75-14 (80/90-14) tubeless street tire modeled after the Michelin Pilot Street 2 for rock-solid road riding. By popular demand, tubeless hybrid tire (for dual-sport riding) and off-road tire (same tread pattern as Shinko 244) are also available as factory-installed options.
- Magnesium Alloy Chassis & Ergonomics: Built with lightweight, heavy-duty magnesium components. Features spiked pedals (130mm x 310mm) with 20mm of height adjustment, redesigned ergonomic toe hooks, a hidden magnesium trolley handle, an integrated folding kickstand, and IPX6 weatherproofing.
- Hall Sensorless Emergency Mode 3.0 & Smart Field Weakening: Emergency failover keeps the wheel balancing safely during sensor communication drops, while Smart Field Weakening dynamically preserves high-speed safety margins.
- High-Output Lighting & Deep Customization: 25W, 3000-lumen lens headlight with daytime running lights and dedicated rear brake/turn signals. Access granular software tuning via the display or app: pedal hardness (0%–100%), customizable speed/PWM tilt-backs, and High Speed Mode toggles.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
-
Is this the same motor as the Lynx-S?
No. While both share a 3800W nominal rating and 42mm magnets, the Sherman-P features re-engineered internal copper windings. This setup delivers dual enhancements in both torque and top-end speed over the Lynx-S, resulting in a 20 km/h higher freespin speed (170 km/h in High Speed Mode vs. 150 km/h standard).
-
Is the suspension interchangeable with the Lynx-S, Lynx, and Sherman-L?
Yes. While it looks visually identical to the Lynx-S suspension setup, complete with the lower pneumatic airbag (2.0–3.5 bar), the Sherman-P has specifically valved damping to provide a firmer, more supportive base to keep the heavier chassis planted at speed, while the airbag functions like a heavy-duty bump stop at the end of the stroke to eliminate harsh metal-on-metal bottoming. In short: the Sherman-P suspension is firmer than the Lynx-S suspension in all the best ways, while being visually identical.
-
Which suspension variant is right for me?
The Sherman-P suspension is a little different from the Lynx-S suspension in that it provides a bit more support, while also offering a very cushy ride - the best of both worlds. As of the time of publishing (9/19/2026), our best recommendation is this:
Riders under 160 lbs: 62 lbs suspension
Riders between 160 and 210 lbs: 66 suspension
Riders 210 lbs and up: 70 lbs suspension
If you are on the fence about which one to choose, here is a good rule of thumb: opt for the heavier spring option if you want more support, or if you are a trail rider or jumper who rides more on technical terrain.

Note: Any power pads, seats, or similar accessories used with these electric unicycles are optional aftermarket accessories and are not required for normal operation of the vehicle.
Important Safety Notice: Electric unicycles are inherently high-performance personal electric vehicles and can carry risks of mechanical or electrical failure, including loss of balance, sudden cutouts, or fire hazards associated with high-capacity lithium-ion batteries. Always wear full protective gear (full-face helmet, wrist guards, knee/shin protection, and armored jacket) and review all local laws, safety guidelines, and warranty frameworks before riding.
