The original Leaperkim Lynx redefined what a lightweight, high-performance suspension wheel could be. It was already a masterpiece of engineering—but LeaperKim doesn’t slow down the progress, and never settles. Enter the Lynx-S: an evolutionary leap forward that takes the industry’s most popular wheel and then improves upon it. With a massive power boost, refined suspension, and next-level ergonomics, the Lynx-S isn't just an upgrade; it is the ultimate expression of the 20-inch performance class. The Lynx-S is just at home tearing up the trails as it is flying down the street - a true "do it all" wheel.

Key Upgrades & Features

Unrivaled Power & Torque: The heart of the Lynx-S has been pumped up: an ultra-strong 3,800W rated motor, capable of 10,000W peak power. Do not let the numbers fool you—while this is a 600W increase over the original Lynx on paper, it feels like far more. Unlike some EUC companies that inflate their motor power ratings, Leaperkim remains conservative. This 600 watts of extra juice over the original Lynx packs a massive wallop. Whether you are climbing a 50-degree incline or launching off the line, the Lynx-S pulls harder than ever. How is that possible though? The secret lies in the motor itself: It has the widest magnets of any EUC ever made. What that translates to is a massive increase in both torque and top speed.

More is Less: The large power increase also creates a unique phenomenon: "More is Less." Despite the slight weight increase from the original Lynx, early testers agree it feels lighter than the original. The torque application is immediate, so you spend less time fighting against inertia, effectively making the mass disappear. Combined with a lowered center of gravity, this results in increased nimbleness and agility at all speeds, and effortless flight when jumping the wheel.

Suspension Perfection (Redesigned): The Lynx suspension system was already great; now it’s bulletproof. The Lynx-S features a completely redesigned internal structure. Early testers are unanimous—this is by far the smoothest suspension Leaperkim has ever produced. It acts like a magic carpet over bumps and surface irregularities, representing a massive upgrade over anything that came before it. It is widely agreed that this new suspension is the single biggest improvement over the original Lynx. The springs in the Lynx-S are linear, giving an even amount of resistance throughout the stroke, but the Lynx-S features a lower air chamber that provides inherently progressive resistance. This means you can push it to the limit— this suspension is designed to handle the hardest landings without bottoming out.

Reduced Maintenance: With improved seals and tighter tolerances, the suspension is more resistant to dust and debris, meaning you spend less time wrenching and more time riding, and even less chances of leaking. The original Lynx already had a "set it and forget it" level of routine maintenance - and the Lynx S improves upon it by yet another notch.

Ultimate Rider Control & Comfort: Leaperkim listened to the community and overhauled the ergonomics on the front and rear handles. The handles have been slimmed down, eliminating inner-leg pressure and increasing comfort for long rides.

Leaperkim-Grade Pedals: Now equipped with the same upgraded pedals found on the Oryx, featuring real MTB spikes for a locked-in grip in the harshest conditions.

Adjustable Pedal Height: A first for the Lynx line—customize your center of gravity to match your riding style, whether you need higher clearance for trails or stability for street racing by dropping the pedals lower.

Physical Temperature Sensors: Leaperkim has ditched the software estimation algorithms. The Lynx-S features dedicated physical motor temperature sensors for real-time, precise thermal monitoring, ensuring you can push the wheel harder with total confidence.

Superlative Safety: Hall Sensorless Emergency Mode Leaperkim leads the industry in rider safety, and the Lynx-S introduces an upgraded hall sensorless emergency algorithm. If the hall sensors fail, this advanced algorithm instantly takes over to keep the wheel balancing. It is more reliable than the previous iteration, significantly reducing the potential for cutouts and allowing you to arrive home safely in case there is an unforeseen issue.

Blazing Visibility: Own the night with a bright 25 watt headlight. Whether you are commuting in traffic or shredding trails at midnight, the path ahead is crystal clear.

Enhanced Chassis Rigidity: The Lynx-S features less frame and chassis flex than the original Lynx. This increased structural stiffness means the wheel responds instantly to your inputs, providing a more locked-in feel at high speeds and during aggressive carving.

Unparalleled Quality Control & Reliability: Leaperkim holds the best reliability record in the EUC industry, setting the standard that everyone else chases. Every single Lynx-S ships with an individual, serial-number-matched QC checklist verifying it has passed a rigorous gauntlet before leaving the factory. This isn't just a quick visual check. Every unit undergoes a motor stress test and a real-world test ride to verify motor output and suspension performance. Leaperkim's technicians verify tire/motor alignment, charging function, and ensure every screw is present and torqued. When you unbox a Leaperkim, you are unboxing peace of mind. As a result, Leaperkim has rightfully established itself as among the most reliable EUC brands, with an ironclad warranty.

Grizzla Flow Pads + Next Gen Mobility - A Match Made in Heaven: NGM has partnered with Grizzla Pads to provide the ultimate setup to give you an ultra-premium experience with your Lynx S. Frequently Asked Questions

  • What is the "Hybrid" suspension system? Unlike standard shocks that are just air or just coil, the Lynx-S uses both. The main stroke uses a coil spring for consistent, linear compression (smoothness), while a compressed air bag at the bottom provides progressive resistance. This means the harder you land, the harder the suspension pushes back, making it virtually impossible to bottom out while keeping the ride silky smooth.

  • Why did you switch to a physical temperature sensor? Software algorithms are good estimates, but they aren't perfect. By embedding a physical sensor directly into the motor windings, the Lynx-S motherboard knows the exact temperature of the motor at all times.

  • Which suspension variant is right for me? The Lynx-S comes in three different suspension variants: 62, 66, and 70 lbs, and you want to choose the one that best matches your weight with all of your riding gear being worn. With the new integrated suspension airbag, bottom-outs are virtually eliminated, making choosing a lower suspension option (62 or 66) a safer call than before. Regardless, there is significant overlap between these suspension options due to a wide range of compression settings available. The 62 is best for riders under 180 lbs, the 66 would be recommended for riders 170 lbs to 220 lbs, and the 70 is recommended for riders 190 lbs and above.

  • Do I need to buy aftermarket pads? No. Every Lynx-S from Next Gen Mobility comes with a FREE set of Grizzla Flow Pads (NGM Edition). These are premium, best-in-class pads ready to ride right out of the box. Also included is a custom laser-cut velcro kit, as well as a leveling kit that surrounds the suspension countours and covers the suspension hole.
